Every year since 2009, the residents of Snake Valley have hosted a Snake Valley Festival.
This festival has two goals:
* Provide a variety of fun events for the people of and visitors to Snake Valley
* Raise money for the Great Basin Water Network to help protect Snake Valley and other nearby areas from massive dewatering projects that would forever change our way of life
The festival has grown every year, and we invite you to our next festival, June 15-17, 2012. It will be held at nearly the same time as Great Basin National Park's Astronomy Festival, June 14-16, so this will be an exciting weekend! There will be plenty of free events such as the parade, kids' games, music, and astronomy programs. The weekend will also feature tasty food and drink, great entertainment, and much more!
